Does any one know if this product also helps break down turtle waste? Or do you recommend using another product specifically for a waste reducer?** A: To my knowledge it does not break down waste. It's only for ammonia and chlorine removal. There are products to break down waste but I haven't tried any. On mine, check on the plastic bottle on the side that has the handle on it. About 1/4 up from the bottom is a black ink stamp reading 120318. I assume that to be an expiration date of December 3, 2018. In comparison, my Nutrifin jug has a paper sticker on the bottom with the lot number and expiration date clearly marked.
