## Description

The first instant terrarium water conditioner. Great for reptile water bowls, chameleon drip water systems, amphibian enclosures, and aquatic turtle tanks. ReptiSafeâ„¢ removes chloramines and chlorine, detoxify es ammonia and nitrites, and provides essential ions and electrolytes which help to hydrate newly acquired animals. Also stimulates slime coat development in amphibians and fish.

Review: Worth it. - It did arrive with a small leak, but it could have been a lot worse. I just kept using it. I will say I did like ordering this in a lager quantity than the individual bottles at the pet store. I think this worked great for my red eared slider tank. Overall it is good quality and kept my water clean. Like I said the only downside was the desertcart delivery.
Review: A Necessary Treatment for Tap Water if You Have Reptiles or Amphibians - Great value and reputable product - as a repeat customer and a reptile rescue, Clinton Critter Care recommends both the product as well as the seller! This is an absolute must-have product for anyone using tap water to water or mist their reptiles or amphibians as it removes toxic chlorine and chloramines from the water as well as leaving an emollient for healthy skin. The best water for your reptile is distilled water, however if you only have access to tap water, if you do not use this or a similar product -- and we have found this to be the best product on the market - then your reptile or amphibians WILL die or suffer from chlorine toxicity. So if you use tap water, simply add a tiny bit of ReptiSafe to the water to make it much healthier for your reptiles or amphibians. This is a large amount that is meant for large collections or for commercial businesses. If you have over 20 reptiles or amphibians this is a great size, otherwise you might want to get a smaller amount, as you only need one teaspoon per gallon of tap water to use.

## Features

- Removes chlorines and chloramines instantly
- Removes heavy metals
- Stimulates natural slime coat

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I searched for "turtle safe" and cannot find it. Is that the correct name of the item mentioned? Who is it made by? Thanks**
A: Zoo med (brand)

Reptisafe (name)

It’s hard to find the larger 64oz bottle , there are a few left on amazon

**Q: I recently bought the 64oz for long term use. It seems to do it's job. Does any one know if this product also helps break down turtle waste? Or do you recommend using another product specifically for a waste reducer?**
A: To my knowledge it does not break down waste. It's only for ammonia and chlorine removal. There are products to break down waste but I haven't tried any. I remove waste as soon as I see it with a turkey baster on fish net. It's also ideal to feed in separate container.

**Q: Ordered two of these but there is no expiration date listed. The smaller ones sold in store has an expiration date. Is there one on this bottle?**
A: Just checked mine. The label appears different than the one in the picture. On mine, check on the plastic bottle on the side that has the handle on it. About 1/4 up from the bottom is a black ink stamp reading 120318. I assume that to be an expiration date of December 3, 2018. In comparison, my Nutrifin jug has a paper sticker on the bottom with the lot number and expiration date clearly marked. Suggest that you contact Zoo Med directly. From past experience they respond immediately and are pleasant to deal with.

**Q: Tiene fecha de vencimiento? O en cuánto tiempo se debe usar?**
A: Nunca me he fijado en eso , yo compro la bolsa grande y me dura 4 meses, tengo dos tortugas
