It can be put in incline,decline and flat position. But don't know why it is named as sit up bench as you can't do sit up without leg support. This is very strong bench which I got for Rs 5500. You can work with as much weight you want but ensure you don't shake much. The product was delivered before time(in 2weeks) as against 3 weeks promised. Delivered via DTDC courier but there was no tracking details in amazon website. Nuts and bolts were scattered inside package. Suggest they should be enclosed in strong plastic container. I could not tighten screws fully. So I had to buy extra washers from market which I got after a lot of searching.
