Review: Didn't pay retail I got open box option and speakers were brand new sound awesome and didn't pay full price not even close can't beat it Review: These speakers are quality made and very appropriately match the drivers design in my other Polk speakers. This is my first experience with Dolby Atmos speakers. When properly placed, set-up, and configured with your AVR, the end result is significantly improved and enhanced sound quality. The immersive sound experience is quite stunning. I have made several placement changes since they arrived. Even before I bought them, I ruled out ceiling installation. With these R 900 height speakers you have 2 optionsβ€”on top of your front speakers facing upward or on the wall behind your home theater system. I have tried both and prefer the upward firing effect, but not on top of the front speakers. Mine are facing up, but on shelving behind the entertainment center facing up and pulled forward closer to the ceiling (see pic). My subwoofer is also behind the entertainment center. This arrangement gives me the best overall immersive experience from a wide range of sources. I am very satisfied with these speakers.
