Review: water tastes same as bottled water - I recently moved to USA and my friends told me not to drink tap water as it contains chlorine and suggested to buy bottled water. For 4 months I brought bottles to drink which is difficult as you need to go grocery store and come with such a heavy bulk of bottles. On top of that lots of trash of bottles. I saw this kind of water filter at someone’s place and ordered one for myself. What a relief this water filter is. I started the same way as written in user guide. Works great, water tastes same as bottled water. Using this from past 7 days and no problem as far now. Led display shows you when you need to change filter. As mentioned one filter lasts for 60 days. It comes with 2 filters. Placing filter is easy. Fits in freeze.
Review: Pretty neat - It comes with 2 filters which is cool. My only gripe is the little bits of charcoal that recently showed up but I think I may just need to change the filter. Some dingus reset the filter timer thing on the top and can’t remember how long I’ve have the filter in. So yes if you buy this pitcher maybe tell people to not mess with “start” button on it.

**Q: How do i install his bad boy? do i leave the two small caps at the bottom to the filter or. do i take them out before i fill out water.**

As the question you mentioned, we suggest the followings,

1. You must adjust it to the "+" position when using the current limiting cover, it takes 7 minutes and 30 seconds to filter 1.45L of water once.

2. Remove the current limiting cap directly. It takes about 6 minutes and 10 seconds to filter 1.45L of water once.

3. If you still feel that the water flow is not large enough at the "+" position, you can directly remove the current limit cover to increase the water flow speed.

First, if you mean how long you need to change the water filter, the answer is:
The electric timer will flash in the allotted time (while low down 25%) to remind you exchanging the filter. Change filters every 40 gallons/150 L, about 2 months for the average household for optimal performance.
Then, if you want to know how much water you can fill each time, the answer is:

Not happy with the lid of this pitcher. I ordered another one thinking the one I received was defective but the 2nd one I received, the lid did closed but not very secure. I will keep it because I need a filter and I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it.
