Rust-Oleum 363569 Engine Enamel Spray Paint, 11 oz, Gloss Red, (Pack of 1)

Excellent

I put new brake drums on my 2015 Jeep Compass, and I wanted them to look nice and not get rusted since a lot of aftermarket drums don't have the best coating. I used this black gloss spray paint over the Rustoleum Engine Primer (600* stuff). It went on great, looks great, and I'm happy with the results. I'll use it to do my stock brake calipers next, just so they kind of match the rear wheels. I'll probably use a clear-coat on the calipers, but I didnd't think that was necessary with the drums. The gloss has a nice shine to it, and I think this paint will really harden up as it cures. This stuff does take a long while to fully cure, so handle with care if you put your parts back on before the curing process is completed. I've heard you can also use heat (like an oven, sunlight, etc) to help it cure faster. Do you research.

Works well but sprays very drippy type of spray.

I purchased a can of Red, blue and clear. Twice. (1 can each wasn't enough) the blue and clear worked great. Looked great. The red was terrible! Came out and laid down just fine but it dried with a flat chalky kinda of finish. On the 2nd order the blue did the same thing the red can did. Be careful ordering
