If your iPod won't turn on, won't hold a charge, or you simply experience poor battery life, this replacement battery may be what you need to fix it. Note: For optimal performance, calibrate your newly installed battery: Charge it to 100% and keep charging it for at least 2 more hours. Then use your device until it shuts off due to low battery. Finally, charge it uninterrupted to 100%. Note: Installation requires soldering the battery to the logic board and will require the following additional tools: Soldering Iron, Solder, Tweezers This part is compatible with iPod nano (4th Gen) model A1285.

The battery was pre charged and the capacity is 320mah so not really good but works nicely. It's also thinner than the original battery and fits good.
