Review: Stunning Reverb + Shimmer - Orginally had a Mooer Shimverb and really liked the shimmer effect but it wasn't as smooth as I hoped but wetted my appetite, so did a bit of research and found the Blue Sky, the quality is stunning, use it extensively as part of my acoustic guitar rig, also the 'favourite' button means you can click into another setting on stage and use the mod setting for a impressive light chorus effect. Not cheap but if you appreciate true studio quality reverb on stage and cathedral like reverb and shimmer effects it is the business.

Orginally had a Mooer Shimverb and really liked the shimmer effect but it wasn't as smooth as I hoped but wetted my appetite, so did a bit of research and found the Blue Sky, the quality is stunning, use it extensively as part of my acoustic guitar rig, also the 'favourite' button means you can click into another setting on stage and use the mod setting for a impressive light chorus effect. Not cheap but if you appreciate true studio quality reverb on stage and cathedral like reverb and shimmer effects it is the business.

The Blue Sky finds a nice balance of delayed reverb effects. The Blue Sky comes in 2 versions, the 5 knob V1, or the 6 knob V2. Both versions will provide pretty much anything you need for stage work. I prefer the Blue Sky’s big cousin the Big Sky for my home studio use. It has more features than the Blue Sky but is not quite as friendly for quick stage use. In conclusion, you’re here, you know Strymon. The Blue Sky is a great versatile pedal that will give you all the effects you’re looking for.
