My preference is for thin. I always attach a metal disk to the back and use a magnet on the dashboard of my car to hold it while I am driving. This one is the best I have found. Adds VERY little weight to the phone, has easy open slots for the Lightning plug and jack/earphone, etc.... AND it actually has a light metal strip built into the case so I do not need to add a heavier metal sticker. The magnet on the dashboard holds it firml;y in place.It is SO light, it is like having no case at all ... almost.The rubber is soft but firm and the corners and edges are reinforced to provide some additional protection "just in case"Not everything that is really good must be really expensive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by C***E on July 2, 2018* This was exactly what I was looking for in a case for my iPhone X. The integrated plate is unobtrusive, the case remains flexible, and it doesn't add a ton of bulk to the phone. If you typically charge wirelessly, you'll need to remove the case, as the integrated plate prevents this. Since I haven't adopted that process just yet, this is a non-issue for me. ### ⭐⭐ Cheap case *by R***M on May 29, 2018* This case is garbage. It is cheaply made and pulls apart from the phone just by gripping it. The whole point of a case is that it protects the phone if dropped or normal wear and tear. This case will only protect the back of the phone. The sides and front glass are completely unprotected. The magnet is weak and my phone consistently falls off the magnetic mount in my car. I have a second work phone with a different case that holds up just fine.
