Design Toscano Nettlestone Library Ensemble

I had this nestled dining set on my Wish List for several years now and finally bought it and the matching side/end table and I couldn’t possibly be more pleased with the quality, style, comfort, and convenience. I adore it! The craftsmanship is superb; the chairs and table are incredibly comfortable and stable. I’ve had every manner of dining set — from bistro to 12 seat formal dining sets, and this one feels perfect for me to dine anlone and feel luxurious and formal (or informal) at the same time! It makes me happy and I’m glad I bought both the dining set and the side table!

Perfect little set, beautifully made and surprisingly sturdy. It was delivered with white-glove care. Makes a perfect chess table.

Unique and beautiful piece

The table and chair ensemble arrived on the day promised. Packing was excellent, protecting the pieces from damage during shipping. No assembly is needed; the three pieces are fully assembled as delivered. To unpack, do not try to lift out of the box. Instead, unpack the protective boards and styrofoam pieces from the top, then break the box down by tearing the cardboard at the corners, folding the four sides down to the floor. Roll the chairs out, then lift and slide the table out. Unlike a comment in another review, all of the faux book bindings appear to be painted on, not stick-on graphic pieces. There is storage under the two seat cushions, as well as the pictured storage in the table base. The MDF used is high density, giving a feeling of substantial solid board, and not lightweight particle board. Each chair has three small knobs that are helpful in pulling them from under the table. They are adequately comfortable, but probably not good for all-day sitting. The small wheels catch on carpet, so do not try to move the chairs while sitting in them; trying to do so results in tipping back instead of rolling. The ensemble is beautiful and definitely unique, adding a nice design touch to our themed library.

Great workmanship and beautiful to look at. No one suspects it's a dinette until to show it to them and it always gets a great response. Very well packaged and delivered spotless. Would highly recommend!

This is such a nice and unique piece of furniture. The colors are so vibrant. The piece appears to be well made. The easiest way to unpack is open the box, then open the side of the box and just slide it out.

i like the design....i like the fit of chairs to table....but the quality of materials is bottom of the barrell.....top is laminated.....badly chairs should have additional coasters (3ea not enough) overal the finish has chipped in two places on leading edge of table (black flaked off).....what a rip off for $1300

We liked the set becouse it's out of the ordinary and had the perfect coner in our home. We use it as a chess and game table. The chessboard is displaed and cards and other games asre stored in the storage area below. Ordering the set through amazon was a breeze, not so the delivery. It came in a huge truck with no lift gate, so the driver that came alone, told us we had to help him bring the box down, or he'll take it away and we should ask for delivery in a truck with liftgate and it was going to cost us $200 extra. (we already payed +/_ that amount for shipping). Finally we convinced him to open the box on the truck, and that it would be easier to unload by pieces. The packaging was very good, the three pieces came fully protected. If you are going to buy this set, do so with confidence, but make sure to have the shipping and delivering details taken care of.
