However full LED brightness only lasts 60-90 minutes with standard alkaline batteries. Love that the front and back lamps have a strobe feature. The front lamp is bright enough to like up the road 2m ahead of my board which is much more then I had expected at this price point. I’m using the light strapped to a helmet so I’m not sure how comfortable it might be for prolonged use without, but it feels pretty compatible to other headlamps that I have used sold at a higher price point.
