It works exactly as I expected *by T***S on January 21, 2016* Sometimes I even use it in my Macbook pro where in theory it shouldn't be necessary as there's already a standard 4-pole input. Skype on Mac is not always able to automatically pick the right sound device particularly if there's another app already open demanding sound device access like FaceTime. I just need to plug NRG and Skype switches over it immediately. Crystal clear sound both ways based on feedback received. Same behavior in Linux and Windows. I'm glad to be able to use my phone EarPods with any computer irrespective of OS in any situation seamlessly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mic doesn't work with Apple EARPODS *by L***Y on July 13, 2018* Four stars because: This device works as described for most TRRS headsets. Also, Headset Buddy's customer service was very helpful and accommodating.Minus 1 star because: This device does not work with Apple Earpods, even though it says that it does. The signalling for the microphone is on the Apple Earpods is different than most TRRS headsets; the only input sound I heard after testing two of theses devices and two different computers was loud, constant beeping. They do, however, work with Apple Earphones (the older, more classic-looking earbuds). Also, the blue blinking light never stops blinking and there is no way to turn it off. ### ⭐ No tech support, will not work with IPHONE 6S Headset *by K***S on August 14, 2020* Despite what it says - this product will not work with IPHONE 6S headset. I tried it on 3 separate computers.
