The previous units performs just as well, but lacks the technology this came with, and at an affordable price for the features that comes with it. Videos are clear and crisp, covers a very wide area (looks wider than advertise, as well). the rear view/ back-up camera keeps track of the rear end just as clear as the front end. The only feature I wished this has is a 'on' light indicator, could be as subtle as a small red/ blue/ amber colored LED light that can assure me that the unit is on, other than that, it works perfectly. Highly recommend this unit. ### ⭐⭐ Mirror vibrates while driving *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2018* Comes with an SD card which makes this a good value. The mirror vibrates/shakes while going down the road despite being securely attached. The motion isn’t horrible but is enough to be annoying. While the mirror coating helps with nighttime driving, it doesn’t dim the brightness of headlights coming up behind you nearly as well as a regular mirror with auto dim does. The display screen is very bright which is great during the day but is very annoying during night driving. The on/off chimes really need a volume control because they’re loud. The settings can be a little confusing, using terms like “on open” and “on close” etc with nothing in the instructions indicating what constitutes “open” or “close.” It’s easy to install but I haven’t seen a “mirror” dash cam that was difficult to install.
