I had to pop them open, even after that the sound came out very muffled and my calls changed my sound. Also it distorted my signal on calls. When you are on the phone the signal comes in and out and you sound like you are in a tunnel, then with the case off you have perfect signal and clear as day. I have ATT and great signal where I am so no need to loose any signal except for the case. Very disappointed, but also bought a cheap case.
