It goes on smooth enough, but trying to smooth it out was pulling my skin. I tried using a damp beauty sponge, then a "Sigma" kabuki brush. I thought maybe I had put it on too thick, so I washed my face and lightly reapplied the foundation, worse!!! It was streaky and uneven. I gave up that day and went back to my ole trusty covergirl +olay. A couple of days went by and I didn't have any appointments, so I went back to the ELF foundation stick and was bound and determined I was gonna make this better, so I took some of the foundation off the stick with a spatula and put it on a pallette. I added 1 drop of pure vitamin c serum and mixed up. I put a little on the back of my hand and applied it with my "Beauty Blender", let's just say that it went on a lot better than before. ELF cosmetics needs to go back and add more moisturizing agents to this product to get people to continue to purchase it. Needless to say I was extremely excited to find this and hoped it would be a replacement for the Pan Stik. This foundation has great coverage, goes on smoothly and blends extremely well. The only downside is it is a little on the yellow side. The color is not an exact match for my skin but it works ok. I do not use this as an everyday foundation because of the color, however I have mixed it with other foundations and have been pleased with the result. I really do not think I will buy it again because of the yellowish tint to the color, so the search continues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this, but I don't love it *by A***X on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 11, 2017* I like this, but I don't love it.CONSISTENCY: The stick foundation is creamy, but thicker in consistency than expected. It is also a tad oily and takes some work with powder, setting spray, and patience to set onto the face properly.SHADE: For me, this is on point as I am very light skinned but not snow white anymore. If you're looking for more of a porcelain white, this will be too dark for you IMO. If you really like elf products and are looking for a good foundation I would recommend one of their liquid foundations mixed with a purely white foundation instead, that way you can customize and control your shade better.COVERAGE: I typically prefer light to medium coverage for my skin. This is NOT that. My skin, thankfully is very clear so the medium to full coverage that this provides is nice for special occasions but seems like overkill for everyday wear (at least for me). Also take note, depending on what tools you are using to blend this out, the coverage may vary. I would not recommend a brush for this, a beauty blender or silicone makeup sponge work best for this, again, IMO.OVERALL: I'm on the fence on whether I'd buy this again.
