Anyone that has played "Guitar Hero" or "Karaoke Revolution" knows the epic levels of fun to be had with these kinds of games. Not only do you get to live the fantasy of vocalist or lead guitarist, but you get to do it alongside some well-known tunes, some of which might be favorites of your own! With "Rock Band", you take that to entirely new level by incorporating friends and family, in a co-operative way. For truly great gaming experiences, it is truly difficult to get better than this.Each person can take turns with a different instrument and when you get tired of the tracks on one version of the game, you simply load up another (or purchase them from the online store, if your console supports DLC).The only gripe I had with my purchase was that the drumsticks were missing. I informed the vendor and he claimed he remembred about the part before he received my email and was about to ship it. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt but it sounded a little convenient to me so I'll let you the readers be the judge of that. He did however ship the missing "dongle" as its called and after another long wait I eventually received it and now everthing works fine so he did keep his word. This had been my only negative experience ever on Amazon and it really ended well as the vendor did send me the part after all but what bothers me is that I had to do the research and figure out what was wrong and had to wait again to receive part. Although it was too difficult for my 8 year old granddaughter and 5 year old grandson they had a great time watching and trying to play. Just be aware Wii Rock Band is not compatible with Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero uses its own disks and guitars, and cannot be used for Wii Rock Band. The only thing I would recommend is to purchase a second Rock Band guitar for the bass to complete "your band!" Wii Rock Band may not be as souped up as x box version, but it was overall user friendly and has provided many hours of rocking good fun.
