Got the answers of my difficulties of programming with SIMATIC PLC. Just missed the CD with the software programming. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The book is generously informative but lacks practical application examples. *by D***F on August 10, 2015* Despite the occasional grammatical and spelling errors, Hans Berger has written a clear book based mostly on theory and operation of the Siemens S7-1200 PLC equipment, contrasting the original software user guide offered by Siemens, which offers minimal guidance for successful programming. My impression has been that the original guide was poorly translated from German to English. This book clears up so much of the confusion that the original guide creates. All aspects and features of the S7-1200 system are covered, in-depth, by the author. My only reservation is that not enough practical examples are included. More real-world applications and examples would have easily enhanced this book. Fervent readers will find only barren examples of function block diagram (FBD), structured code language (SCL) and ladder logic (LAD) programming. Hopefully, other published books by Hans Berger have been embellished above this one. The Amazon price was considerably less expensive than prices on other websites for the same book, hence my primary reason for purchasing through Amazon.
