It is a very good way to learn quantum mechanics. The only down side is that it is not very explanatory. Review: DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION OF THE BOOK, printing quality is really low. - ATTENTION: The five star rating applies only to the textbook and the author, NOT to the publisher. It's really embarrassing that such a nice textbook is published and printed in extremely bad quality. I bought this book three years ago, despite my greed to read it, I never managed to, because of the extremely bad typesetting and using incredibly small font size by the publisher. The equations are hardly readable. This is really a big shame to the publisher. Poor Landau would be shaken in grave if he knew how bad his textbooks were published under his name. I am already looking for another (perhaps older) version of this book that could be at least readable. A question to the publisher: Seriously, I wonder if you ever had a look at the text inside this book to see what you did with printing? I just confirmed that. Although I is not as cathastrophic as I feared, it is really disappoiting.
