## Description

Power Steering Flush

Review: Perfect for a neglected Lexus p/s system - Recently purchased a very well maintained Lexus es330. The previous owner had changed all the if the fluids with exception of the power steering fluid (Toyota/Lexus uses Dexron ATF). After running the Lubegard I immediately noticed smoother steering and upon flushing with Mobil 1 ATF I noticed how well this Lubegard flush (it uses esters to do gentle cleaning) really works. I’ve used Lubegard for years. It’s a trusted brand in the automatic transmission rebuilding world and many OEM’s have worked with the company over the years. I also like that they are a USA 🇺🇸 based company (Seattle Washington) and family owned last time I checked. If you have a neglected p/s system this will help bring it back from the brink. Good luck
Review: Removed about 50 percent of issues with my power steering rack noises and issues - 2002 honda odyssey v-6 3.5 engine. Works well so far. Started getting some binding feeling and creaking noises on my power steering as I moved through corners and from lock to lock on my steering wheel and it was getting worse. So first bought some seafoam trans tune up which is also good for a power steering hydraulic system. It removed about 40 percent of the creaking and binding noises from my power steering rack. Then tried also this lubegard power steering flush 4 fl oz about a week later from desertcart.com. It got another 50 percent removed from my noisy power steering rack issues. Still 10 percent issues remain in binding and creaking noises. But will have to live with it because I can't afford a new power steering rack for this old van and probably would have to get a new power steering pump too. Also bought some lube gard complete synthetic power steering fluid for honda/acura and HD vehicles. Not sure what the HD vehicle is. This will work for now but I think I need a total power steering flush at the dealership or a auto shop. The fluid is really really black. And the vehicle is a 2002 honda odyssey that I just bought and don't think it has ever been changed in 23-24 years now. So it will have to been done later.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it remove water?**
A: it says removes "deposits" and "impurities"

**Q: How do you remove it without a machine on a 2014 jeep compass?**
A: What I did after the flush was to remove the return line from the reservoir and plug off the reservoir connection. Then emptied the system into a drain pan with the engine running and adding new fluid until the reservoir was filled twice. Reconnected the reservoir return line and topped off the fluid.

**Q: Do you add it with your power steering fluid..or do you remove some..and then top it of**
A: You actually need to remove some of the liquid from the car, add the product, filling it to the top. After that, you turn on your car and start turning the wheel from left to right several times until you feel that the turning is soft and smooth again. After that you need to drain the deposit and put new steering fluid. According to the instructions you shouldn't leave it in for driving.
