I have put findings, accent beads and gemstones in all of the plastic containers. I keep it on my workbench so I have all of my "fast movers" nearby when I'm working on a design. It is made of a thin plastic so it dos feel a little cheap but it spins great so I can easily access one of the containers. I may order a 2nd one to keep just pearls and crystals in to keep handy. You can fit quite a bit into the round containers. They are about the size of a hockey puck if that helps at all. I highly recommend!
