Flat piece of cardboard, perforated in the middle. Peel the paper off the front, the sticky stuff is underneath. I used these in my basement. Half of one here the other over there. First overnight, nothing. I figured , well what do you want for 3 or 4 bucks. But the next day, one on one trap, three on the other. I saw a cricket elsewhere and moved the trap. The next day, two on that trap and four on the other! After about a week, no more visitors so I put it out on trash day. Haven't seen any crickets since but if I do, these will go right back out again. That's all I can say...
