Does it come with a dish? are the instructions useful?** A: This is a refill kit. It comes with Triops eggs, baby food, and adult food. The instruction were useful to me, but no new material from what can be found online. I used this kit with my own container. **Q: What temperature does the water have to be?** A: We have tried two different sets of triops. One was another brand and they didn’t last at all. We did them in winter when we keep our house 68 degrees. Not sure if it was the temp or just junk eggs. This kit worked wonderfully for us, but we waited until summer - when the water was over 72. They worked great and my kids loved them! I think using quality (bottled) water made a difference.
