I don't get the "Light Weight" notion. This thing needs to be sturdy (it is), so I would not be a bit interested in one made to be lighter.The REAL issue, if you have a fast boat is the quality of the flag itself ... the standard 18" flag whips, pops and cracks like crazy at speeds over 50 mph. The cheap flags will not stand much of that.This piece is exceptionally well made ... when it comes to boats, the least expensive option is usually a poor choice.
