We used these on a cruise ship inour cabin for a pullman bed for our daughter. They provided good privacy. Use with strong magnetic hooks (walls and ceiling are metal in cruise cabins)

The star and cat curtains are very cute and look just like the pictures. Only issue I had, I was installing on the ceiling for an upper bunk and the string was a bit too saggy when I strung it between eye hooks so I replaced it with picture wire instead for a less saggy installation.

It's a quality product and worked much better than expected. I used a magnetic hook in the center to prevent sagging from the provided cord. They definitely block out light.
