Review: A definite buy for both the avid Dino collecter and the science minded kid! A little too bulky for young children, 5-8, but a real treasure for collectors old and young. The color is subtle but beautifully realized and really brings out the small details of the sculpt. The feathers look great and add a real sense of exoticism to the well know form of T-Rex. I will say that while the figure can stand on its own, it is a bit wobbly and can fall down if not carefully. Also it’s a little heavier than one would expect so again probably better for older collectors. All in All: if you want s feathered T-Rex for a reasonable price and exquisite detail, look no further.

A definite buy for both the avid Dino collecter and the science minded kid! A little too bulky for young children, 5-8, but a real treasure for collectors old and young. I will say that while the figure can stand on its own, it is a bit wobbly and can fall down if not carefully. Also it’s a little heavier than one would expect so again probably better for older collectors. This is one of the nicest "cheap" dinosaur models around. If you're looking for cool 'model' for a shelf, this is great - with a small negative that it doesn't stand too well - he topples forwards easily. I wouldn't recommend this as a child's toy for 2 reasons - one it's expensive if all you want is a generic dinosaur for a kid to play with. Secondly it's heavy and would hurt if someone decided to hit someone else with it.
