Review: Paperback is good & affordable for bookworm!! Review: Reading The Trial by Kafka was an experience unlike any other. From the very first chapter, the story pulls you into a world that feels surreal yet disturbingly familiar. Josef K.’s journey through an opaque and nonsensical legal system is both frustrating and fascinating. It’s a story that doesn’t provide easy answers but instead forces you to sit with its ambiguities. What really struck me was the sense of inevitability throughout the narrative, as if every event was both random and predestined. The atmosphere is oppressive but compelling, drawing you deeper into the absurdity of it all. This is a book that refuses to be forgotten—it makes you reflect on the systems we live within and the existential questions we often avoid. If you’re looking for something challenging and deeply symbolic, this is a novel worth diving into.

I’ve always been a physical book person, but I decided to finally try a Kindle, and this was my first purchase. I’m so glad I did because having this book with me everywhere made the experience even more intense. The story itself is unsettling in the best way—like a nightmare you can’t wake up from but also don’t want to. The way Kafka writes, the way the confusion just builds and builds, it really gets under your skin. I kept flipping pages, half-frustrated, half-fascinated, needing to know where it was all going. Even now, after finishing it, I can’t shake the feeling it left me with. Definitely the kind of book that sticks with you.
