## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you use fingertip grip with this mouse?**
A: No. this is a palm grip mouse. while its possible its pointless as you will have little to no control of movement on flick shots.

**Q: Can I use this on any surface or do I need a mouse pad?**
A: You can use it on any surface, but of course, a mouse pad is highly recommended to make sure you run your mouse on a flat surface. Gaming mousepads will offer better feeling and better grip (anti-slip) when you use it. If you play FPS game, you will need an extra large mousepad obviously, it will secure the space you'll need to move around with low sensitivity.

**Q: Is the wireless charging station the wireless receiver? I want something for my laptop portable gaming but i don't want to take a charging station.**
A: Yes, the charging dock is the wireless receiver for the mouse. Or you could simply plug the mouse in via usb if you don't want to take the charging dock and are capable of using a wired connection.

**Q: Has anyone recently received a Razer Naga Epic Chroma that wobbled when putting it on a surface? (Meaning that the mouse feet were uneven.)**
A: No, but I received another brand of "gaming" mouse that has uneven feet. There were ceramic feet. Questions I had in resolving the issue was whether I would receive a properly built mouse before I returned my defective product.

Best mouse I've owned, hands down!

*by M***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2015*

Let me just start off by saying I've been on the fence about ordering this particular mouse for some time, about 1-2 months I've been eyeing it. After I noticed my original wired Naga mouse starting to lose its preciseness at higher DPI settings I decided it was time to purchase this newer version and give it a go. My first impressions of the mouse was the awesome packaging from Razer that really set it apart from other mice I've owned. Great presentation A+ Razer. Upon removing the mouse itself and components that come inside i.e. the charging dock and wired USB charging cable I was immediately blown away by the quality and craftsmanship that went into this product. The mouse felt hefty and solid but not in a bad way, not too heavy at least for my liking. I personally like my mouse to have some weight to it. I don't like cheap feeling mice that some of the other companies produce even with their claimed weight adjustment systems and gimmicks. No thank you. The charging dock had the same build quality found in the mouse. Very solid and well made. The sticky pad that comes on the bottom of the charging dock itself is great too, very sticky and will offer plenty of non-skid tackiness to keep it where you put it. Another great plus in my book. The dock and mouse connect like a puzzle piece using a magnet to keep a strong connection which is outstanding. The braided charging cable too offers much more length than my original wired Naga's cable and felt strong and well made. In addition to all this it sync'd up great when I plugged it into my computer, super easy with my Razer Synapse 2.0 interface (already installed from my previous Naga and Nostromo) and was recognized immediately, no fuss. The customization of the lighting on the mouse wheel and 12 side numbered buttons is a really cool feature too. You can set it to cycle through the color spectrum individually on both wheel and side buttons or choose a static color option on each as well.I haven't had ample time to test the functionality of the mouse fully just yet, being that I've only unboxed it a few hours earlier and have not had a chance to really play any games with it. I will be back to update more on the mouses function within the coming days/weeks. Overall first impressions and limited use browsing the internet with this mouse concludes that this is one top notch piece of gadgetry. Despite a few bad reviews here and there If you are thinking about getting a top quality MMO gaming mouse look no further than the Razer Naga Epic Chroma Wireless Mouse. There is a great chance that you too will have the same experience with this great product as I have had.

    Solid gaming mouse with flair!

*by B***7 on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2016*

I've mostly been a Logitech user for the majority of my adult gaming years (I'm 37). I've gone through a few gaming mice, usually buying a new mouse not because my old one died, but rather because I just wanted to try something new. Two recent mice that I've used were the G9 and G700 (not 700x).For whatever reason, my 3 year old G700 left click started becoming a bit unreliable, so I started thinking about buying a new mouse. At the same time, Christmas was coming up, and I mostly only get "toys" for Christmas and B-days, as most of my normal expenditures are on my children and wife. The Razer Chroma line of gaming peripherals caught my eye, and after online researching (and getting my hands on some of them at a local Best Buy), I decided I would work toward getting the full line. I received the Orbweaver Chroma Stealth and the Firefly mouse pad on Christmas day, and decided (with some $$$ I got) to buy myself this Naga Epic Chroma mouse. I've been happy with all 3, but this is about the mouse, so I'll finish up this story with the main points of my experience so far.Physical properties: The Naga is definitely a large mouse...bulkier than the G9 and G700. Although I can use a fingertip hold (my hands are probably medium to large), it's close, and really seems like more of a palm mouse. I personally rest the palm of my hand on the mouse pad, and it is comfortable. The buttons all have satisfying clicks, and the thumb buttons are pretty easy to distinguish. I don't play MMOs anymore, so I mostly just program the bottom 3-6 buttons (7-12). The "Epic" version of the Naga is nice for the ability to play wired or wireless from the cradle that acts as both a charger and a hub. One minor complaint is the battery life...when gaming (polling at 500, not the max 1,000), battery goes down fairly quickly. It wouldn't go from 100-0 during a 2-4 hour gaming session, but my problem is leaving it off the cradle throughout the day. With the Chroma lighting going on throughout the day (polling at 150, sleep after 10), if I forget to charge it, it might still be dead by nighttime (I play only when my children are down to bed for the night). I do have it go into sleep mode after 10 minutes, but it still seems to drain a bit much.Synapse Software/Programming: Speaking of programming, Razer's Synapse software is easy to use. I've got plenty of experience with Logitech's Gaming Software (the Synapse equivalent), and Synapse is not so different that I needed any instructions on how to work it. I'm sure you can read about it in other, more official reviews, but other than the multitude of ways you can program each button, it's nice to be able to assign separate profiles to individual games (so far, I have a standard one for non-gaming use, a Witcher 3 profile, and a SMITE profile). With multiple Razer peripherals, you can also link the peripherals up...e.g. a mouse button changes the keyset on the keyboard or Orbweaver, a left click can make the Firefly flash briefly).Chroma: Beautiful. I can't wait until I complete the collection (I plan to get the BlackWidow Tournament Edition Chroma Stealth (10-keyless) and the Kraken 7.1 Chroma (headphones), but as is, it looks great sitting on top of the Firefly. My standard settings when not gaming have the mouse and firefly on "Spectrum Cycling," so as they cycle through the various colors, they're in sync (same with the Orbweaver). During gaming, the constant "on" lighting can be a bit distracting, so I have the Orbweaver on "ripple," the mouse on "static" (single solid color), and the Firefly on "reactive" (every time I left click, the edges and logo flash briefly). No one but me sees it, but I'm impressed. Wish the Naga had a couple more color options (ripple, reactive, and wave would be awesome to see), but it's still really nice. Conclusion: Other than the battery life (minor complaint), I've been very satisfied with the Naga (and the other Razer peripherals I've gotten). The Chroma effect is really cool, if you're into that sort of thing, but the important part (how it functions as a peripheral) is solid. Definitely recommended if you want a mouse that can be wireless, if you like button programming options, etc. I'm very satisfied.

In-depth review for people who are looking for a quality product

*by S***L on Reviewed in Canada on November 17, 2015*

If you are looking for quality product that will meet all your expectations and give you an amazing experience then look no further!(Conclusion at the end in case you don't want to read)Keypad + Wireless reliability:I was initially skeptical of the keypad thinking I would never find the buttons as well as of the response time and reliability of the wireless function. After using it 3+ hours a day I can say I have only once ever had a problem with the wireless response and that was when I had forgot to charge it for a few days and it died out on me after I ignored the useful blinking low battery warnings. The keypad is so beautifully ergonomically designed so that after a few hours of use you can intuitively find the button you want instantly.Battery:The battery is stunning and if you charge it on the sturdy dock once every few days overnight you will never have a problem. Even if you happen to forget to charge it, using the synapse software you can tell it to warn you when the battery falls below a percentage that you determine. The ability to disconnect the dock and connect the mouse directly is super useful when you realize mid raid that you need a charge; Just plug it and wait a few seconds and you're back to the action while it charges.Feel:I have big hands and this mouse fits perfectly with my index and middle fingers slightly bent. People with smaller fingers can slide their hand forward to have fingers bent or can have the mouse in a palm grip. The little finger rubber grip is an amazing compensation for not being able to fully grip it tight with your thumb when you need fast action lifting etc. The keypad is super clicky and responsive and need a little bit of thumb pressure to activate letting you still use your thumb to lift the mouse after a bit of getting used to. The left and right mouse buttons are responsive and clicky but maybe a little lacking in the recovery pressure for my personal liking. I am used to heavy mice and this one kind of threw me off, but after a bit of use I got used to it and can not go back to my other mouse.Scroll wheel:Razer really got the balance between ultra smooth no bump just rolling scroll wheel and very defined step-wise scrolling down. The wheel is smooth enough to scroll unhindered for long periods yet responsive enough to give scrolling a nice gradual feel. Super sturdy after a lot of usage and the lighting is sublime. The side scrolling capabilities also are a real commodity! And the fact that pushing it left or right gives you extra "buttons" when setting it up for gaming gives you even more customizeability!Cable + Dock:The dock is probably one of my favorite parts of the purchase since it is very comfortably heavy and gives a secure feel. The adhesive bottom is really very reliable to have it serve as well, a dock! It does not slide or budge even when force is applied and needs a very comfortable tug to lift. After transporting it to and from my girlfriend's place it slightly lost its "stickyness" but a quick rinse of water brought it back literally to as good as it was out of the box. The cable is sturdy and can handle quite a bit of friction against desk edges etc. without fraying of the mesh. The mesh further is bendable and will keep the general shape of the bend you gave it (sort of like twist ties) great for keeping the cable out of your way when using the mouse wired.Lighting + Look:The chroma lighting is simply stunning! While the choice of lighting is kind of lacking since you can chose only between spectrum cycling (goes through all its possible colours seamlessly over time) and static (single colour constantly). But this really was no big deal after a while since you can chose from any single colour you can create on a computer when chosing static mode, and you can chose either mode and different colours for the wheel and keypad simultaneously. The best part is since you can have different profiles for diferent games, you can have a different look every game you play! The mouse overall looks sleek due to the great matte black finish, its shape and the little grate in the front. Conclusion:While this mouse is pretty pricey, it is likely the only one you will ever want. The Feel of it is great for MOBA, MMORPG, FPS or just non-gaming office use, and the customizing options for lighting make it super versatile and lets it adapt to any use with a little bit of one time setup for each circumstance. Buttons are clicky, scroll wheel is responsive and with a great feel and there are never any problems with the wireless aspect. Battery life is really good and with overnight charging once every few days it won't die on you. Don't even worry about the buttons being too much or too hard to find since after a bit of use you will handle them as good as your keyboard.Once you go Razer Naga Epic Chroma, you'll never go back!
