Zak George's Dog Training Revolution

What an amazing book and what an amazing trainer Zak is. The book is so simple and well written. Easy to understand as well. I just went gliding over the pages and did not even realise that I came so far. The best part is all the training tips given here have an accompanying Youtube video. And unlike other books you can just start reading any section that feels relevant to you for training your dog at the moment (but best to start from the beginning). I just started teaching my 10 week old pup and he is doing so well. Will surely try to teach my older dogs too. The book covers every possible aspect a pet parent would or should know and not just the training tips. I am re-reading and revisiting the pages, it’s that great and helpful.

Hi Guys, Good day... I have watched lots of Zak videos on youtube, and i was searching for his book available in india luckily it was there in Amazon India. Immediately i placed the order... I reached me with 4 - 5 days and the book material was excellent. Most of the topics has been covered right from the first day with pet, first bath and everything that a new owner need to know. If you already own a pet and if you are planning to buy this book not that much helpful. Buy this book before you bring your pet to home and complete reading half the book and then bring in your pet. You will definitely get to know many things.

I watched YouTube videos about Zak George and he inspired me to get this book. As soon as I got the book I read half of it the same day. It's really helpful from adopting a dog to its training. I also got to know new things like extra finger etc. I wish it included an index so it would be easier for me to navigate. Apart from all that this is a great book and a *NEW* Dog owner or someone who is willing to adopt a dog should get this book.

Irrespective of the breed of dog one has, this book is superb for anyone interested in knowing more about the process of training the dog at home. It gives good insight into dog psychology and how we can deal with dogs. It also gives adequate information regarding diet for dogs and what items should not be given to them.

Yes it a good book for all whobwish to keep a well behaved dog. Nondbout you need to spent 30 minutes daily on training your dog. The book gives you helpful tips as to how you can train your dog .

The content is good but type is horrible as if Xerox copy..sad to see..

A very good book to buy for people who have no clue how to train a dog. This book has all the chapters from the selection of breed to tricks and tips to train the dog. I will recommend this book to buy.

The content is upto the mark. A full guide for 1st time dog owners and already owning one wanting to train their dog.

thanks Zak! this is by far the best dog training book. I already knew all the basics, but I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly as I am adopting a dog soon. it covers everything, including how to find a dog to buy/adopt in the beginning! in the end it covers how to solve unwanted behaviours that have already developed. it's also been useful with determining what I need to buy for my new dog. I like how he supports modern dog training techniques and how many of his videos correspond with the chapters. it really helps me understand concepts. I strongly recommend this book, it's by far the best as many other's only teach about training puppies, but Zak takes it many steps further in such a small book (yet somehow covering everything). I also know I can trust these techniques to be reliable through his videos. again, THANK YOU Zak!

Ho conosciuto Zak George 3 anni fa quando ho adottato il mio primo cane. I suoi metodi mi hanno aiutata a construire un rapporto speciale con Alvin e mi hanno permesso di educarlo in maniera umana e senza l'uso di alcuno strumento coercitivo. Ho seguito i suoi consigli anche quando ho portato a casa il mio secondo cane e sebbene sia stato un pelo più complicato a causa di un caratterino particolare della cucciola, dopo un anno di esercizi costanti e coerenza con il metodo anche lei è fantastica. Non posso far altro che consigliare caldamente questa lettura e i video di Zak, vi apriranno gli occhi sul modo di vivere il vostro cane.

I had previously read a book from Cesar Millan which I really liked, but it made me thinking that dogs should always be submissive to anything I wanted them to do. Zak’s book has a very friendly approach that I believe can create a bond between the dog and their owner, and it’s what I’ll be following from now on. My dog is 9mo old, I’m with him for 3 weeks now and he already does lots of things at home and in low distraction environments (sit, down, stand, take a bow, fetch, take it, leave it). I’m starting frisbee, but still getting their interest on it. I also recommend sympawtico training, they have great resources.

Es un buen libro para principiantes, yo por primera ves tengo un perro y lo estoy intentando entrenar, el libro me sirvio mucho para tener una buena idea de como empezar su entrenamiento. Aun es cachorro, asi que espero que a la larga sirvan todos los consejos del libro.
