I bought these for him after we went kayaking and the only "water shoes" he had were flip flops (while I have a great pair of Keens). He struggled to walk in shallow water with a light current with his flops, and the rocks to rough for his bare feet. Not only do these fit perfectly, but they are very light-weight, he says they're comfortable, they are great for short hikes to the water, and he has enjoyed wearing them kayaking, to the beach, tubing, and just to the pool. The provide great cushioning and support, so his feet are protected from rocks, etc..., and the straps securely keep them on his feet. Couldn't as for more for our purposes! We were using the Micah sandal which are great but for reasons I can't understand they only go to size 13. I have been searching for a similar shoe and this is it! They fit great and I hope Crocs starts making these for women.
