**Q: why my ph80 unable to show consistent value? if test the water PH  first its show 9.5 or 7.5 and decreasing .1 for each 30 seconds. any issue in my ph**
A: Your pH metre is working fine. Just take the pH value of the the first 30 second.

A: What are the advantages of 3.3 molar KCl ?

Answer
​All pH sensor suppliers use a saturated or a concentrated KCl solution in the reference cell. The advantage is that a concentrated solution decreases the electrical resistance of the reference cell. The solubility of KCl in water is 238 g/l at 0ºC, which is approximately 3.3 mol/l. Therefore the advantage of 3.3mol is that the solution stays below saturation when the temperature drops. The crystals would stop the flow and block the junction.
