## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this product be used on an external step**
A: You could but the adhesive strip wouldn't be any good outside you would have to screw it down instead...

**Q: Is this made of metal or plastic?**
A: I think that they are made of a metal shell with  black plastic strips on them. We used them for a very shallow step between two rooms , which people tend to trip on or kick off the trim. These have been very good so far as you can see them and are hardwearing .

**Q: Would this be any good to put over damaged carpet at top of stairs**
A: Probably not, I used mine between carpet in hall and tiled floor in the bathroom. It has an adhesive strip underneath the aluminium tread part. I also used silicon sealer for extra grip.

**Q: What is the thickness of the aluminium?**
A: Think were about 2mm thick, very much the same as any other metal threshold
