It is now Mar 2020, and it still works perfectly. I just started working from home and bought a second one for my work laptop. It works great too.This MST hub works perfectly with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet and Microsoft 3Q9-00001 docking station.It works equally well when plugged into the built-in mini Display Port on the Surface tablet, or when plugged into the mini Display Port on the docking station.I am using it with two monitors that have HDMI inputs. I bought cables that go from DisplayPort to HDMI. Your mileage may vary. If you have three identical monitors, this product will probably work. But here are the problems that I unfortunately experienced, and I really hate to write bad reviews but these are the facts:1. It does not work correctly for 2 of my monitors. It makes the image shifted so there is a black bar, using only 90% of the available pixels. No changes to the display settings in Windows will fix this.2. It blew out a line of pixels in my 3rd monitor. It does display 100% of the pixels on this monitor, but it caused a random line of pixels to turn purple and this is permanent hardware damage.I don't know if there are other factors that could lead to these problems such as (a) the DP->DVI cables, (b) a power surge, or (c) the particular monitors I am using. But I mean there are published video signal standards and stuff so there is no excuse for incompatibility - who is at fault I don't know.YMMV maybe I got a lemon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved my multi-monitor setup and having to purchase a new video card! *by T***R on May 6, 2015* I am using this on a desktop computer with four monitors running off of a Radeon R9 280X. I have one Dell U2913WM and three Asus VN248H-P monitors. Under Catalyst 14.6 drivers, I was able to get all four monitors to extend and life was good. I had the Dell connected via DisplayPort and the Asus monitors connect via HDMI and 2 DVI to HDMI cables. When the Catalyst 14.9 drivers were released around October 2014, something broke and I could no longer get a 4th monitor to extend with the video card. I reverted to Catalyst 14.6 and continued with that until Catalyst 14.12 was released...it didn't fix the problem. I upgraded the Catalyst drivers to the 15.3 Beta drivers this past weekend and it was still broken. I was fully prepared to have to buy an NVidia card since they reportedly work better with 4 monitors. On a whim, I decided to order this 2-port MST Hub and connected the Dell via DisplayPort, one Asus visa Displayport to an Active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, one Asus via HDMI, and the third Asus via DVI to HDMI cable. Immediately all four monitors are extendable again and I can also set up Eyefinity across the three Asus monitors. Life is now good again...all thanks to this little gizmo. If you are trying to setup four monitors with the latest Catalyst drivers, this little fellow is your ticket to multi-monitor bliss.
