I recommend with any of these that may be used in a humid cooking environment such as steam or a crock pot, you should buy a heat resistant silicone to apply where the stainless wire attaches to the remote probe. Moisture can seep in there and foul the probe. This has happened with every brand I have used. This was a very well built thermometer and very accurate. Plus being able to cook 2 steaks at once with dual probes is awesome. Sometimes one steak is thinner than the other so going off the temperature of 1 may under or over cook the other. I have a large side built stack smoker and the fact I can throw two different temperature probes on this and digitally track it from a totally different part of my property is great.Two probes, two different displays for them, adjustable “suggested” temperatures for cooking other types of meat etc... I’ve had zero issues with the connectivity of display and I would recommend for any grilling enthusiast that wants to be able to walk away and prep other items while maintaining their heat on the grill. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not the most intuitive interface, just okay, but price is good. *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2019* Hello, I dig it okay, but man it was hard to figure out how to get the temperature down on the Turkey and Chicken...you have to go into Program mode and manually set it :-) I kept hitting taste, thinking it would go from 170° on down to what I use, which is 165°...but there's only one setting for poultry and that's WELL, you can adjust it manually and then go back and select the meat if you want a label for it, but the learning curve was not intuitive for me, and I'm not a major dummy...so I can imagine how frustrating this would be for anyone else. It does work, seemed to be about one degree off on my boiling test, which is just fine for me as far as accuracy. I got this for smoking meats and roasting. It's nice, I like that it has dual probes and a nice price and I think this is the one that will send replacement probes if theirs go wonky, so that's a built in savings as well, but I haven't tried to get a replacement yet. I do wonder if it will cost $$ shipping and handling.
