Very happy. *by F***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 23, 2019* I bought this cover to give more protection for my Surface Book 2 on a flight and stay in NYC. I've always kept my laptop in its bag or on a desk or table when in use, but I've always been afraid of damage. I use it for my work and the detachable screen is handed to my clients for signatures on forms. It's quite fragile really, and slick with no way to easily grip it. I've discovered that this cover is the answer to all of those concerns. It looks great on the laptop, disguises it as a portfolio pad when it's being carried, offers excellent protection especially for the detachable screen when it's removed, and is comfortable for use, typing, etc. The pen still sticks to the side of the screen, and all the access points are still accessible. It's actually easier to plug in the USB's because they aren't right down there at desk level - that little rise makes it easier to plug them in. If you've been using a Surface Book which is very thin, then you know what I'm talking about. Even so, that little bit of extra thickness of the cover doesn't take away from the thin advantage of the Surface Book. The final thing I'll call attention to (there are more but this review is already getting long) is that the cover cushions the corners of the screen and gives it more support when the laptop is closed. I've always considered this the Surface Book's greatest weak spot, and my new cover solves it. On a related note, opening the laptop is much easier due to the little bit of separation the cover provides between the strong magnets. The laptop still remains firmly closed but can be opened with one hand without putting undue stress on the screen. I am completely satisfied with the quality and functionality of this cover and I can say that it makes my Surface Book 2 a joy to use anywhere, not just on a desk. In case you're wondering I bought and paid full price for it, and nobody offered me anything in return for a review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice but has some flaws *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 23, 2018* The media could not be loaded.  first off let me say that this is the second time I'm writing this because amazon decided to delete my text while I tried to add a photo, and also, this is a good case. If you want the basic jist of this review then it's a solid protective case that adds some bulk and has a few flaws that may not affect everyone. ,The problems I have with it are listed below but otherwise everything about this case is smooth and awesome.1. The flap. Honestly this is just irritating. There's no way to secure it without getting it more in the way. I move from room to room/ desk-to-desk while working and picking up and moving or working on my lap is really frustrating when this dumb flap is sticking out. You can use the elastic to hold it in place but if you look at the photo you'll see why that's really not a great option. If it had a magnet inside or wasn't quite so stiff then maybe it would be more comfortable/easier to ignore.2. bulk. I really didn't expect this to be an issue. My laptop barely fits in any of my backpack laptop compartment with this case on. On it's own the surfacebook fits just fine with room to spare but not enough room for this case. It's a chore to shove it in my bag and yank it out to get to work. When I get back to campus this will be a bit of a struggle.3. the base case. This is the number one issue, the primary reason I would return this case and am still strongly considering doing so. When you work in "backwards mode", maybe it has a legit name I'm not sure, your case is completely unsecured. I've attached a video to show just what happens while I'm editing photos and videos which I primarily do in this setup. Case and keyboard separate completely from a regular amount of sliding over time - say 5 minutes or so before I have to put the whole bottom piece back on- I've moved it quite a lot in this video just to keep it short but this is a real problem. I so wish that the case could magnetize to my actual device as well as to itself and just stay where I've put it until I intentionally remove it.My FAVORITE part of this case is the tablet part. It detaches so easily and the magnetic edge just flips right over the side and secures the tablet snugly. It's fantastic as a tablet case. The bottom half needs work.Also cool thing I discovered today, You can remove the top with your pen still magnetized to the left side of your screen. Neat! Pen loop being on the bottom isn't a problem imo because this case doesn't interfere with your pens ability to attach to the top at all, as mentioned above LOL. Doesn't block the cameras, looks snazzy and professional, keeps it safe, doesn't alter or muffle sound at all.
