What is the weight limit for this bench?

Didn't say but I'm weighing 320 lbs I sat on it few times. No breaks no warped either but best for kids use but I put it in bedroom but my cats favorite spot to sit on bench

im thinking of this as an island in a walk-in closet. My concern is the finish on the back of the unit as it will be seen. Is it a matching finish?

The back panels are dark onone side, plain on the other. If you want this to be an island, leaving off the back panels will leave plain (particle board) wood on the edging. You could turn the back panels around so the dark side (usually showing at the far inner wall of the cubby) is what faces out so your exterior all consists of the pretty wood. Then, only the far back wall inside your cubby is light.

how much weight does it hold?

The benches holds about 240 pounds.

I need to know the inside width of the cubeical. Has to be at least 10 1/2 inches

Inside Dimensions of 1 Cube: 11.25 in.H x 11.25 in. W x 11.75 in. D
