I am not a professional photographer. It is a hobby and occasionally shoot photos for some events (more than 10 times now so far using this strap/harness). I do not believe there are clear instructions on how to use it. But it is not too hard to figure it out. My neck thanks me once I switched to this system. This make shooting more comfortable when compares with 2 cameras with 2 straps. With 2 cameras straps on my neck, and often hard to switch camera with one strap is overlapping another one. It is even worst when shooting in a fast pace. Using this strap/harness now make is easier for me to switch cameras when I have one wide to standard zoom lens on one camera and a telephoto prime lens on the other one. As for the sturdiness, the material and the harness construction seem good. The extra safety tether cable makes it even better. So far, I have not encountered any issues at all except one time the strap got lose a little at the strap adjuster. So, I just need to check the harness each time before I use them. I think it is good to do so no matter what.
