This box set contains the first 5 albums from England's Orange Goblins issue by British record label Rise Above (originally issue in North America by the now defunct The Music Cartel).1997-Frequencies from Planet Ten1998-Time Travelling Blues2000-The Big Black2002-Coup De Grace2004-Thieving from the House of GodAll the albums have same track listing as the initial releases and mostly unaltered original artwork as well as all the original lyrics, liner notes and thank you's.What's new you ask!?!?!Each of 5 albums contains 3 bonus tracks consisting of:Tribute songs (cover songs)Live versionsDemos andAlternate versionsYou also get addition liner notes from each member of the band on the making of the records (I learned there was a lot of drinking involved!)Each disc is package in digipack case and house in (thin) cardboard slip case (would have prefer a stronger grade of material but it's minor complaint) and you even get a iron-on patch as a extra bonus.In summary:5 discsOriginal music, artwork, lyrics and liner notes3 bonus tracks per discNew liners notes from each band member per discOrange goblin patchCome in cardboard slip caseAll in all a great set I would highly recommend to any Orange Goblin fan whether you own all of the original releases or none of them. There is really not a bad album in the bunch. I got turned onto these guys by a circuitous path that involved a thank you on the sleeve of an Alabama Thunderpussy album (Fulton Hill I think). Since then, it has become clear that these are not only some stand up guys but that they love what they are doing. Due to the fact that some of the early stuff (which you definitely want) is hard to find, I would recommend this box set over buying any one single album. Having been a Sabbath, COC, Kyuss, DOWN fan for years - I have no idea why it took me so long to hear about these guys?!
