I waited about 5 weeks and finally reached out to the seller. The seller responded the next morning and refunded my money. Days later the package showed up at my door. I reached out to the seller and they walked me through the process to get them payment since I wanted to keep the remote start (and they offered to send me a return label if I no longer wanted the remote). All communication was very quick, friendly, and helpful. As for the remote itself, it is exactly like the original one. It came fully charged and was very easy to program with my truck. This is a two way communication key fob and will work with ANT-2WDSS antenna (also purchased on desertcart). Best Buy installed their model:RS1B-DC3 Compustar kit (wait until it goes on sale), my antenna and this key fob all at once for their regular installation fee. Make sure you ask to program for a rear defrost to turn on, when vehicle temp is at 32F or below. Do that even if your car doesn’t have a thermometer, the Compustar modular has its own. The key will also give you a battery and a temp reading on the display no extra programming needed. Key fob has a rechargeable battery, in my 2-1/2 month 4+ times everyday usage it was charged three times counting the initial charge. Going this route I saved about $250, plus non of the car stereo stores had this key fob to offer.
