The initial setup up is a little slow and wonky, but every smart device I've ever owned that connects to 2.4 has acted the same way so no complaints there. The brightness is outstanding. Better than any online picture or video and can show. And don't be fooled by thinking you can only do a straight line or some form of an L shape. The corner piece is actually a T, and since my last name starts with a T, that's what I have on my wall. I have moved the bars in various positions before I figured that out, and the sticky tapes have never failed. The only problem I had with alinement was with the actual wall and not the lights. It's fool proof and the effects are really cool. The only thing I wish is that the animations and movements would run without the app having to be open in the background on my phone. I bought it to pair with my Razer Chroma setup and it does, but I seem to have no control there over the zones and all three of my LIFX light show up in Razer Synapse as one unit.
