I was able to tighten the two contact screws down very tightly and they held fast. I'm happy with the quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well to replace the original connectors *by A***R on September 6, 2022* I bought a package of 5 thermocouples a few months ago and had intermittent problems appear due to poor internal connections within the thermocouple connector. I found that the thermocouple wires had been crimped to the connector blades, but poorly. one of the two wires was not securely fastened within the crimp connection. These new connectors use threaded screw connections and work well. To ensure a good grip to the thermocouple wire pair sleeve, I added a short shrink tubing sleeve where the wires entered the connector housing.
