I’m a beginner so I don’t know much. The only other board I’ve surfed is a 9’ Odysea and there’s a noticeable difference in terms of balance. This Wavestorm has a lot less volume and width which makes it more difficult to stand on but will in turn make you a better surfer once you get the hang of it. At first I wished I had the Odysea back but started working harder to stand and balance and now I’m glad I got this board. To my limited knowledge the construction of the board seems good. I’ve bailed hard a few times and got hit in the face with it and it left no marks where a hard board would’ve left a gash for sure. All in all if you’re willing to put the work in then this is a good board that won’t break the bank or your face. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful board that my daughter LOVES *by W***Y on April 27, 2022* This is a great surfboard for those just starting to learn. My daughter is a new teen but is already 5’8”, this board was such a great fit for her. The colors are amazing, vibrant and beautiful. The board is extremely lightweight for one of this size! So affordable at the clearance price, I was able to surprise my straight A Honors Student with a gift she has been dreaming of! Hiding it for a month before her birthday was so hard!
