Maille Wholegrain Mustard 210g

I initially bought this mustard because it was recommended for a chicken recipe I made. My husband raved about the sauce for the chicken since this mustard added wonderful flavor to the sauce. I make some of our mustards homemade, and this mustard reminds me of my mustards before I blend them. In addition to adding wonderful to sauces, potato salad, and other recipes that require a mustard flavor, this mustard is also great in sandwiches. I would also recommend using this mustard sparingly in recipes, as a little goes a long way. UPDATE 12/20/23: Since I had read this mustard was good as a sandwich spread, I decided to try it tonight on chicken sausages served on brat buns. I spread a good layer on the bottom side of the buns, and added fresh sliced tomato and onion. My husband and I both liked it very much. The flavor was good but not overwhelming, and it did not have a chunky texture as I expected. I will definitely be trying this mustard on more of our sandwiches. If you are an adventurous cook and want to add some zing to your recipes, this is a mustard I would recommend. I also recommend it as a sandwich spread. I hope this review was helpful for you.

During a recent visit to Salty Dog Restaurant on Seabrook Island, SC, I had salmon with a mustard glaze. It was delicious so I wanted to recreate the experience at home. I wasn't able to find the Maille's brand in my local area so purchased this online from Amazon. I first attempted the mustard sauce without wholegrain mustard and the taste was lacking. With Maille's added, the flavor profile was way up and the taste was almost as good as I remember getting at Seabrook.

Nice mellow mustard taste. Like how the grains seem to pop in the mouth and release their flavor. Goes nicely with quality hot dogs and ham sandwich. No heat or spice noticed so it's mild. I shake the container before using each time. Will buy this again.

Everyone has their favorite mustard, and this is AMAZING. I’ve tried many different brands and varieties, and none came close to this French classic. Whole grain mustard has a rustic consistency that is ideal for sandwiches made with artisanal bread, fresh produce and if not vegan, the highest quality cold cuts. The vinegar used for this mustard is dreamy, and there is no nostril burning fire. Elegant, exquisite, perfect.

The jars were wrapped in bubble wrap but when I removed it, the liquid from the whole grain mustard was all over the inside of the wrap and all over the jar. There was a paper seal on one side of the jar but it was wet. The vacuum seal on each jar was broken. Not sure why or how because the glass was broken. I don’t feel it is safe to use

I Love This Mustard. It’s great for making salad dressing and anything else you might need it for. I will buy this again.

If you like mustard, you’ll love this. It has more flavor and seems more pure. Goes great on anything you eat with mustard but served with a warm soft pretzel is a popular go to.

Like very much. Hot and tasty.

I usually prefer Dijon or Colman's English, but I'm starting to like the smooth taste, and the slight heat from crunching the seeds. This mustard also goes well with meat and sausages, as well as in a salad dressing.

Literally the best. Any self respecting mustard enthusiast needs to have one of these in stock 24/7. Also look up Maille Dijon, and Colman's British mustard. These three together are the trifecta of mustard perfection. Don't even think of getting veeba or fun foods...

This whole grain mustard is the best

While I've never been a fan of mustard except the less intense American kind, my wife loves this in her salad and says it's great and the flavour comes through nicely
