Super handy and sturdy rubber bands. Black. These do rubber band things very well.

Received five large, ten medium and twenty small bands as per stated contents, unlike some other reviewers. Bands are suitable for my intended purposes: Camping / outdoors and photography (securing light modifiers to shoe-mount flashes, cables and cords). It can resist abrasion, UV rays, ozone, aging, and weather, and it’s the most waterproof rubber available. EPDM is also steam resistant, functioning in up to 392 degrees F (200 C) without air, and chemical resistant, including to polar fluids. With similar properties to silicone rubber below 250 degrees F, EPDM is resilient, has low electrical conductivity, and adheres easily to metals. It’s also very flexible, with 600% elongation and a tensile range of 500-2500 psi, while functioning well in temperatures from -50 degrees F (-45 C) to 350 degrees F (177 C). On top of that, EPDM insulates and reduces noise, part of the reason it’s so commonly used in the automotive industry. How long does EPDM last? It depends on the application it’s used in as well as the conditions under which it’s working. When constantly working at the extremes of its working temperature, EPDM’s lifespan will shrink dramatically. However, if properly taken care of, EPDM products can last for decades. Roofing made from EPDM can last 30-50 years, and liners can last for 20. EPDM’s most major drawback is its vulnerability to solvents, hydrocarbon oils, and some lubricants, which can cause damage. I wanted a "ranger band" to seal a zippo lighter. Well not one size in this pack worked for me. But... I found a lot of used for these on other projects and have had fun using them. YES you can make your own. But for the price and convenience this is the way to go. One of the bands works perfect on a Altoids box as a side note. I would look elsewhere if you need a ranger band for a zippo. I ended up buying a tube and making my own. Never the less, this is a great niche product and am glad to have it.

They do what Ranger Bands have been doing for years. Good variety of sizes makes this a no-brainer to keep on-hand to solve many retention issues. No complaints.

I always find uses for Ranger Bands... Far more durable than typical rubber bands. Fit my Altoid tins perfectly. Can handle the weight if heavier tools in my toolkit.

Ich benutze schon seit geraumer Zeit die Ranger Bands sowohl zivil als auch dienstlich und kann nur positives berichten. Wo andere Gummis ihren Dienst quittieren halten die Teile weiter bombenfest. Nicht günstig aber wenn es darauf ankommt alternativlos.

I use these to secure containers and miscellaneous items conveniently. Works like a charm.
