The problem is filling it can be tricky (no clear instructions) and the silicon portion starts to push apart as it's freezing (making misshapen spheres and causing part of the sphere to frost up -not quite clear). But overall it's better than trying DIY methods for clear ice.Edit: while they frost up slightly, once in a beverage they clear up.
