I’ve tried both a single and double sized hammock and I will say I feel like I prefer the double on it personally but if you prefer more of the actual “chair” feel of it, single’s is the way to go, but if you want to do more lounging (like laying diagonal or with your head/legs facing between the supports like a “normal” hammock, definitely double even if you can’t lay legs out unless you have something like a chair or something to let your feet hang. Don’t let that dissuade you cause as mentioned before this thing is awesome!! Would I take a nap in it? Personally not. Assembly is SO easy. Functionally it’s great! Comfort wise it’s great for using more of a chair use than a full hammock use. Definitely worth it for sure!! It’s SUPER light and I can lift it one handed. I did notice that I had to make sure I had the double size hammock to sit in it comfortably in cris-cross.
