Yet, even then is this product consumable. **Q: what is expiry day for pick salami which you are currently selling?** A: The salami I just started to slice was manufactured in May 2017. It is still pink inside and taste fresh. I was told that a salami can be stored in excess of 6 months as long as the plastic shipping bag is removed and the storage temperature is appr. 62 F or cooler. Notb only one of the best Hungarian style salamis, but one of the best overall.I am writing this review because I somewhere saw that folks could be disappointed by the fact, that this salami continues to ripen and forms a peripheral ring of more greyish meat around a large center core of more reddish meat. This creates two "flavor zones" that, together, constitute the very essence of the greatness of this product (and of most other finely ground salamis).
