The bag they came in said "Lavender" below the barcode, so it looks like a mis-labeling thing that didn't get human verification. And yes, they're definitely, blindingly white. However, they are soft, if thin, and worth the price. I needed a set of sheets NOW because I got a new bed of a different size and the expensive sheets I ordered weren't going to make it in time. I won't be returning/exchanging because the mattress is here and these are the only sheets I own in the correct size. With two dogs that jump on the bed, I don't anticipate the white will last long and the thin factor makes me anticipate they'll be too cool for winter, but again, the price made it a no-stress investment.
