The clock runs on a single AA battery (not included).It took me a good 15 minutes to peel and stick the mirror finish elements to their foam counterparts. I used the template with a laser level to make sure my vertical and horizontal lines were good; it took about 20 minutes to carefully stick the digits and marks to the wall. I think it came up looking really cool, especially considering the low price.
