LANMU Upgraded Extension Hose with Electrical Connection Compatible with Dyson V7 V8 V10 V11 Cordless Vacuum Motorized & Non-motorized Attachments,Trigger Lock 35" Flexible Vacuum Hose Attachments

So I got this attachment with the intention of using it with my Gen5Outsize vacuum cleaner to use attachments like the pet hair tool head with ease when vacuuming hard to reach areas for the Dyson unit itself. Of course it was not advertised as compatible but I decided for the price to pick one up anyways. All that makes it compatible or not with the later generations is a small fin divider between the power prongs on the hose and upon unscrewing it really fast, clipping the fin with some flush cutters and screwing it back in I now am able to use it no problem on my newer model Dyson. Of course do this at your own discretion but so far I vacuumed out whole couch with it and the powered tool head and it works great! I only wish it was a little longer in its tube length as the 35” length it calls out is for the fully pulled apart tube but for the most part it’s spring force holds it together much shorter than that and I prefer not to fight and pull all the time. Again for this price I might just pick up a second one to connect end to end but would totally purchase if it was about a foot longer for a few more bucks if they decided to lengthen it from its current length.

So I bought this mainly for the trigger do-dad. It works, was a little tricky to figure out how to get it on. It doesn’t work (for me) the way it should but does the trick. I’m sure the hose thing is good too. Fits my Dyson v8

1-2026 Works with the V15 to transmit suction and power and at a fraction of the cost of the competition We just got a V15, and the bare floor laser brushhead could not reach the needed angle under our low bed frame. I looked at the Dyson low attachment and learned that it does not pass through power. The Dyson brand extension hose also reportedly does not pass through power. That got me looking at extension hoses that do pass through power...This one was for $13, and the other runs $30. I got both, and both seem to function similarly with our V15 and pass through power and suction. This less expensive version also includes a little red trigger lock gizmo, shown in the photo, with a side-to-side slider that enables the user to keep the trigger switch "on" without pressing the trigger. Such trigger locks cost nearly as much as the hose, if purchased separately.

While the extension is nice the fittings are such that you lose a lot of the suction of the vacuum.

There is no sealing gasket in the tool attachment port like there is on the dyson vacuum. This allows air to easily bypass the tool and get sucked in around where it attaches, causing a severe degradation in suction performance. This is very easy to test with the crevice tool, just cover up the end with your hand. Without the hose the vacuum will surge a few times and shut off. With the tool it will stay on because it's easily sucking air through the poor fitting between the hose and the tool. Other than that glaring issue (which I may have a fix for) the quality seems ok. The hose could be a little longer, but perhaps I can stretch it out so it isn't fighting me so much. On the vacuum end of the hose the plastic is a little thin so it doesn't interface well with the vacuum's gasket, and it also doesn't have as good of an interaction with the vacuum port as my attachments do. I will update how it goes with my fix.

I bought this for my Dyson V8. It worked absolutely great with the powered cleaning head that has a rotating brush and also with all unpowered brush. The fit is perfect. There was no leakage around the connecting joints. It also came with a trigger lock that I really like so I didn't have to keep pressing/holding the trigger when using the hose with a brush.

This hose fits the v15 and works but the diameter of the hose is smaller than normal and I read that the power delivery wires may also be of slightly higher resistance and slow a motorized attachment a bit. However, I use it on a V15 (on the High power setting) and it does the job for me so much so that I bought a second one for another V15 that I have. The actual attach points fit as well as the regular Dyson attachments. I'd give it a 5 if they addressed those two items and made the flex hose a tad longer too. The overall quality seems very good.

I only gave this 5 stars because 6 stars isn't allowed. It is PERFECT. The wires for the end attachment are part of the hose coils (as a human I am a fan of a double helix) - not separate so there's nothing to catch or wear. Pairs perfectly with the small Dyson powered cleaning brush head. Perfect for my stairs.

So pleased that it works with my Dyson v8 motorized attachments and crevice device with LED light! This extension hose makes it easier to clean. Definitely an upgrade from the regular hose.

Works great with my V15s. Pins are working so I can use "electrified" heads, well done Dyson not to provide this anywhere so we can support other businesses 👍

Unlike the official part from Dyson this hose has power, so works with motorised attachments. It works well with the small stair brush. Shame it had to be shipped from the US, but it did arrive fairly quickly.
