It goes on very easily compared to the other brands because of the use of the bar in the back - sliding it into the groove is much easier compared to the other brands that have a stretchy plastic which needs to slide into place. Post installation, I did not see any leakage as it covered the hole leading to the toilet bowl completely. Yet to determine if this lasts longer than the aftermarket flapper that typically give you about two years - at least in the mid-Atlantic region.
