I have a small 4 light garden, and was looking to boost yields for the limited space available. I went with a pair of 2' Flower B bars to act as a spectrum widening utility to be hung between my main hoods, complimenting a 1000w Hortilux HPS set up. After only 8 days the plants that are under the combination of light are blowing up, lots of dense fresh growth, that comes much more thick and rapidly then the plants outside of the reach of the bars, Ive ordered another already.So I would say it seems to be making a difference and for a couple hundred bucks to potentially boost a yield even a half p more pays the investment off plus some, I will check back in after this run is over to give a full evaluation, but so far so good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for "Small" gap coverage *by C***0 on July 6, 2016* Great for "Small" gap coverage. I use one of these in between ever xl1000 to get a even footprint. They run off of a small ballast that has a unique cord, I plugged them into my autopilot box that runs 240v with Universal sockets and they run great.Need them down 12" from the canopy for a good light footprint. The Only complaint is the small cords and I was missing a hanger for the light so I made my own out of a carabiner and coated wire . The cords are way to short for larger grows. This is something the company needs to work on. Even the xl1000s come with less than a 8ft cord. ### ⭐ Received damaged, used light bars instead of new as replacements of wrong items *by F***N on November 9, 2018* Be very careful if you order LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower A) that you actually receive LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower A). The first order I received from Amazon were 2 LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Vegetative A), not what I ordered. I used the website to request replacements, and shipped the vegetative lights back to Amazon via UPS pickup. Today I received my "replacements." Both were in open boxes and had clear signs of previous use, possibly recycled from a commercial greenhouse. One of the boxes was labeled as "Micro", LED Bar Lights Kind LED Bar Lights (4 Foot, Flower B). This one was not only used. but the plastic end pieces were badly cracked. The other light was in an open box with the correct "Macro" label, but it showed more subtle signs of use -- scratches that probably resulted from the lamp being hung from the ceiling of a greenhouse. Note that due to the open boxes, there was no way to tell if either of the lights was an actual "Macro" flower light bar. So I called Amazon directly instead of using their website. I spoke to 4 different representatives, was put on hold repeatedly, wasted almost two hours of my life. The first rep was able to put in a replacement order for one of the lights, the badly damaged "Micro". I requested replacements for both, but an order was put in for only one. So I called back, and this time got the full run around treatment. Eventually, the supervisor I spoke to told me that a replacement could not be ordered until the damaged items had been received. In other words, I better call back sometime next week, and MAYBE at that point something could be done. The lights themselves are good products, I have two of the "Micro" Flower light bars, and they work very well. My issue is with the abysmal way that Amazon has handled this situation; not just the obtuseness at the call center, but that someone there seems to have expected that they could send me used, damaged light bars and that somehow I would never notice. BE VERY CAUTIOUS if you order these lamps. Make sure that you get what you've paid for.UPDATE: Today, on the fourth delivery, I received a Vegetative A light bar, not the Flower A that I ordered. The third delivery actually had a Flower A that appeared to be new, along with a badly damaged Vegetative A. I'm on the phone right now attempting to arrange a FIFTH attempt to send me what I ordered. I'm being told that I have already received 'too many replacements' and that they can only offer a refund at this point.
